Easter Scrapbooking Tips

Posted by on 16th March 2010

With spring and Easter right around the corner, it’s time for scrapbookers to look for Easter scrapbook pages they can use to preserve their holiday memories. There are a huge number of freebie scrapbook pages for Easter out on the Internet, because so many creative people love to design them and then give them away. This is great news for the scrapbooking community, which tends to be filled with moms and grandmas who get together and make scrapbooks together and share resources.

It’s commonly thought that scrapbook images have to be 300 dpi to be useful, but that’s not the case. Images that have 200 or even 150 dpi will print just fine. That’s great when it comes to Easter scrapbooking, because there tend to be a lot of photos generated for the holiday. That means a lot of scrapbooking images are needed to frame them, and storage of those images can take up a lot of space. So if electronic storage is an issue for you, it’s a good idea to look for lower dpi Easter scrapbook pages if you can find them.
